A keratin building block

L-cysteine is a sulfur-containing amino acid and one of the most plentiful amino acids in keratin, the protein that makes up most of each strand.

The essential partner

L-methionine is an essential amino acid, so it has to come from food. The body can also use it to make cysteine.

A familiar seed, extracted

Pumpkin seed extract comes from the seeds of Cucurbita pepo. It sits alongside biotin, zinc and selenium, which help maintain normal, healthy hair.†

A traditional root, extracted

Ashwagandha extract comes from the root of Withania somnifera, a plant with a long history in traditional practices.

Standardized for curcuminoids

Our turmeric extract (Curcuma longa) is standardized to at least 95% curcuminoids, the compounds behind turmeric’s golden color.

A plant source of silica

Bamboo extract is standardized to at least 70% silica, a mineral found naturally in plants.

AnaGain™ Nu is a botanical extract made from germinated pea sprouts, the early growth of a pea seed.

What it is

A water-soluble extract made from organic pea sprouts (Pisum sativum).

Role

One of EverBlume™'s three hero components, declared on its own alongside the Hair Complex.

What research measured

Participants counted the hairs left on their comb or brush, morning and evening, at the start, day 28 and day 56. The study tested AnaGain™ Nu on its own, not finished EverBlume™.

What it is

OptiBiome® BS50 is a spore-forming probiotic strain, Bacillus subtilis BS50. CFU (colony-forming units) counts the live microorganisms in each serving.

What research measured

Researchers compared a combined score for bloating, burping and flatulence against placebo. These are digestive-comfort findings, not hair results.

What the study measured

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial followed 76 healthy adults for 6 weeks. Neither participants nor researchers knew who was taking BS50 or the placebo.

This study is about digestive comfort, not hair. It tested BS50 on its own, not finished EverBlume™, and was funded by the ingredient's maker.
